BSC Marine Design Pty Ltd (BSC) comprises an experienced and qualified design office specialising in the design of vessels to local and international classifications and standards within the size range of 20 metres to 55 metres.

BSC designs are based on a thorough understanding of client requirements and operating profile / environment; thereafter progressing through a diligent design development and review process. The pedigree of a BSC design has certainty attached to a thorough weight calculation and optimisation of design trim in both light and loaded (static and dynamic) conditions.

The design office applies experience and technology to ship design. Design objectives combine hull efficiency and seakeeping with failsafe engineering, shipboard systems, and operator functionality. Ease and economy of operations and systems maintenance is fundamental to every BSC vessel design. The Group adopts a conservative and developmental approach to new and/or innovative design concepts undertaking appropriate research and testing.

BSC Marine Design does on a fee for service basis develop custom designs without obligation to in-house vessel construction and indeed has a heritage originating from private client luxury yacht projects. 

BSC employs Autoship; Maxsurf; Autocad; NavCad; Strand7 and other design software in the design and engineering office.
